Company history

We are a family-run company with father and son directors, and we’ve been in the glass industry for over 30 years. In that time, Rom Valley Glass & Glazing has become one of the strongest players amongst UK glass and glazing companies. We’ve remained on-trend and kept up to date with machines, products, and industry innovations related to home construction, glass installation, and interior design — always adhering to the guidelines set for by the Glass and Glazing Federation.

The company was founded

Our co-director Alan Morgan founded Rom Valley Glass & Glazing at the tail end of the 1980s with the same values we all hold today: dedication to the craft and excellent customer service. His vision and expertise have been instrumental in our success, with son Jack now joining him at the helm.

Purchased our first factory

A major milestone for the company, Rom Valley’s first factory gave us the opportunity to focus on the glass manufacturing and architectural design side of the business, allowing us to offer on a full-service proposition.

We won our first award

We’re not in the glass and glazing business for the awards, but recognition from the industry is testament to our hard work and dedication. Our first award came in 1998, and since then we’ve humbly accepted further accolades, including Solidor’s Installer of the Month and Origin Global’s Installation of the Month.

Becomes leader in local glass manufacture

Investing in our own factory paid off. Our team honed their skills in the manufacturing side of the business and as demand grew, so did our success as we became one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of glass in Essex.

We opened our showroom in Hutton, Brentwood

We’re immensely proud of our spacious and inviting Essex showroom, located in Prospect Way, Hutton. A picture or a brochure can only show so much, so allowing our customers to see our windows, doors, fixtures and fittings helps them visualise – and realise – their dream results.
